Here are some highlights that we caught on camera. Enjoy and welcome home. hope to see you on tour again soon.
Hi all . Apologies for the delay in getting our next update as we have been busy in the air and very full days. We write this from the entrance of Disneyland on our final leg of the tour. Our boys lost all 4 games against very strong opposition here in California but all games were very close. We will try and post one additional blog before we leave....
Good morning Australia......Well what a day !
Our seniors travelled to the North of the country and had a great win against the locals with Josh C taking 4 wickets, whilst Kale, Tom P and Tom T all got runs for a solid victory. Tim I chimed in with 2 solid wickets and a run out.
Our junior team taking on the Under 15 Barbados Champions had a tough game with everyone expecting them to lose, except maybe the boys themselves. Have a look at what happenned below !
We had a great night last night at Crop Over...This is the big festival which goes for 3 months and is one big party in the Caribbean. We attended the big opening last night with a Sunset Concert with close to 15000 people. Our boys decided to chant "Aussie Aussie Aussie" and when the host found out we were from Australia, he decided that The West indies needed to beat us at something as they are sick of losing cricket to Australia !
We got more than we bargained for !
Yesterday both teams fought hard going down by 4 wickets for the juniors (with Harry making a great 90) and the seniors losing by 60 runs.
Today we had a tour of Kensington Oval , and looked around Bridgetown, having a swim at a local beach.
Our final 2 matches are coming up ....More updates soon !
Our juniors lost by 4 wickets today but played well as a team, with Al and Tom scoring 48 each and Harry bowling well.
Our seniors had a great win with Rhys scoring a great century and Mitch taking 5 wickets.
We had a great day today on board the cat with dancing, snorkelling shipwrecks and the highlight of swimming with wild turtles up close and personal. Here are some of the photos.... Back to cricket tomorrow...

Today we played the strongest junior teams in the West Indies , where pop star Rhianna went to school. Our teams fought hard but were outclassed by some stunning batting from one young local who hit 90 off 27 deliveries. He is in the under 19 West Indies Team to play at the next junior world cup. Our junior team also did well, but again came up against about 4 of the U15 West Indies national team with one very classy young fast bowler who took a hat trick towards the end of our innings. A great day had by all. All our bags have now arrived into the Caribbean (finally !) , and we are off to o swimming with the Turtles tomorrow. More updates soon. We will add today's junior scorecard in the next 24 hours.
What a day ! Full match report soon. Our junior young guns had a great win , whilst out senior boys, chasing 190, were down at 8 for 43, and came back with some gutsy tailend batting to get up and win by one wicket ! The greatest Wanderers cricket victory of all time.
We have attached a great report of the junior game as coach Jason has an ipad scoring app. The seniors will get this later in the tour. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE LINK HERE
More detailed reports soon. We have added these photos in our photo gallery.
Hi everyone , this morning we woke up to a pretty good view at breakfast...more updates soon
