Day 5 - Netball tour 2

After picking the girls up from the billets this morning we traveled an hour and a half to Colechester - our destination today and our Hosts were Braintree Netball

Junior team - team 3 - Game 4 vs Braintree A

Lost 12-23

Player of the Match -Grace Bowen

We came up against a team who had very accurate shooters who were unphased by our defence. We are developing basic skills which will assist us in playing better netball.

 Game 5 vs Braintree B

Won 24-11

POTM-Keely-Shayla Teariki

A strong and determined start put us ahead early in the match and we continued to build on this. Fantastic shooting by our team saw us come away with the win.

Game 6 vs Braintree Juniors

Won 41-30

POTM - Kate Parkes

We moved outdoors and the fact we survived the cold was a real positive. Players are tying to deliver what is being asked of them and each game we play improvements are being seen. Players are also trying new positions and developing as individuals and as a team.

Team 2 - unfortunately we were beaten by a better team today - we are building each time w play together - if we had another quarter we would have gotten them

player of the match - Karlee Harrison
