Another toss won but a different decision today, captain, Jordon Hudson elected to bat and it pr bed to be an inspired decision. After losing a early wicket, two solid partnerships had us at 2 for 95 before a steady flow of wickets followed. The run rate remained at around 5 per over half however with Max Sinclair carrying his bat from start to finish to remain unbeaten on 82. Some late hitting from Jonty Webb helped us achieve a target of 8 for 176.
The target always seemed to great for Princess Margaret School as they struggled to maintain the required run rate from the beginning of the innings. All bowlers finished with good figures with Ryan Irwin finishing with 3 for 9 and Henry Snyman getting 3 for 19. In the end Princess Margaret were dismissed for 78 falling well short.
Day off and a catamaran tour tomorrow and then four days of cricket in a row so the boys will enjoy some R & R.
