Junior Cricket Tour - West Indies / USA June/July 2018

Registrations for this tour are now open.

We will be returning to the West Indies in 2018 after very successful 2016,2014,2012,2011 and 2007 tours to the Caribbean and the US.

Our first team will be our older boys who will play against 1st Xi or U17/18 teams, whilst our second team will be our younger cricketers,  playing against U14/15 teams.

The teams will be filled on a first come first in basis, and will feature individual players from across Australia.

Each team will play 6-7 games on tour against club, school and representative teams in Barbados and a possible game in California.

Players turning 14 to 18 in 2017 are welcome to apply.

Parents and supporters are also welcome to accompany the squad on their travels.

The tour will be lead by an experienced coaches and managers who are representative level coaches from across Australia including a former NSW under 19 Schools coach and other representative level coaches. Our head coach for our 2017 tour to England was former West Indies Test fast bowler and former under 16 West Indies coach Kenny Benjamin.

Tour inclusions cover international flights ex Australia, accommodation, games, breakfast, lunches on cricket days,  travel insurance, internal transfers, and most sightseeing, as well as the opportunity to head out to swim with turtles on a boat trip..

The tour will depart late June 2018 and return mid July 2018.

Some of the tour highlights will be playing the locals in Barbados, the stunning beaches, culture and food of the Caribbean, a tour of Kensington Oval, as well as visits to Hollywood, Disneyland and Universal Studios in California.

June/July 2017 - Junior Cricket Tour to England and France

Wanderers Australia will be sending junior boys cricket teams to England, during the winter 2017 winter school holidays. Our head coach will be former West Indies test bowler, and former West Indies junior coach Kenny Benjamin.

There are no selections of tryouts for the tour. All spots are filled on a first come first in basis. All players play equal time on tour and get equal opportunity to bat, bowl and keep, depending on what they prefer to specialise in.

Our squad will be split into two age groups.......one team will be our older boys who will play against 1st XI or U16/17 teams,  whilst our next team will be playing against U14/15 teams. Players aged 13 to 17 in 2016 can apply to be a part of the tour.

The teams will be filled on a first come first in basis, and will feature individual players from across Australia. Each team will play 8 games on tour against club, school and representative teams.

Parents and supporters are also welcome to accompany the squad on their travels. Its a great way to see England and France and watch your son play cricket at the same time.

The tour will be lead by an experienced coaches and managers who are representative level coaches and leading cricket figures in their region. Past coaches include former test players and state coaches..

The team will tour Lords and possibly have a net session there, see all the sights in London, play against local clubs and representative teams, and finish with some time in Paris at the end of the tour, including a visit to the World War One Battlefields of the Somme. Subject to fixtures, we will also be looking to attend an international match in England.

Tour inclusions cover international flights, accommodation, games, breakfast, some dinners, travel insurance, internal transfers, and sightseeing tours of London,  Paris and the Somme battlefields.

The 18 day tour will depart on late June 2017 and arrive back mid July 2017, during the winter school holidays.

The tour will commence in London, touring various parts of the UK, before finishing in Paris.
