Surf n Ski

Surf n Ski is a great introduction to international travel for school aged students from years 7–12.

The great attraction about Surf n Ski is that you don't  need students to play a particular sport ! You can create a group from a  variety of students from different age groups. Packages start for just 8  students and 1 staff member.

Held in either December or January, schools from across  Australia will head firstly to Canada, where you will spend a few days  in Vancouver getting used to the climate and exploring this fantastic  city. Highlights include Robson Street with its great shopping, Gastown,  Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park, as well as the  opportunity to possibly see the Vancouver Canucks play in the NHL ice  hockey, or to travel down to Seattle to take in the NBA basketball  feeaturing the Sonics.

It is then onto the interior and a leading Canadian ski resort .... for 7 nights  !

All accommodation is ski in ski out and the programme is  designed for those from "never seen snow" through to those  who ski or board at an advanced level. We choose resorts that have easy green runs  for beginners and first timers, through to excellent and difficult terrain up to  triple black ! Even the smaller resorts are bigger than the bigger  resorts in Australia with the longest run a staggering 6km !

The tour then finishes in Los Angeles, with an opportunity to visit Hollywood and Universal Studios, and the Disneyland parks.

An alternate way home is via Hawaii where you will take in Waikiki, Pearl Harbor with the Arizona Memorial, as well as the stunning North Shore with its famous big wave surfing beaches of Sunset, Banzai  Pipeline and Wiamea Bay.

The tour includes international flights, all accommodation  with breakfast daily, dinner nightly in the ski resort, transfers, ski or board hire, lessons to the student's level and lift tickets, and  comprehensive travel insurance.
